WHERE CAN YOU PICKUP A BOAT?
You can pick up the boat at 3637 Del Prado Boulevard South, Cape Coral.
IS A BOATING LICENSE REQUIRED TO OPERATE A BOAT IN FLORIDA?
To operate a motorboat with a horsepower of ten (10) or more on a regular basis, Florida law stipulates that individuals born on or after January 1, 1988 must successfully complete an approved boating safety course. Following this, they need to obtain a Boating Safety Education Identification Card from the FWC. It’s important to note that Florida does not issue a separate “boating license.”
DO YOUR BOATS COME WITH INSURANCE COVERAGE?
Certainly. All of our boats are equipped with comprehensive insurance coverage, featuring a deductible of $1000. This insurance is already incorporated into the overall pricing.
WHAT IS THE AMOUNT OF THE SECURITY DEPOSIT?
For insurance purposes, a Security Deposit of $1000 is required. You have the option to provide this deposit in either cash or via a credit card hold. The deposit will be held for the duration of your rental period.
WHAT DOES THE PRICE INCLUDE?
Our all-inclusive pricing encompasses Instruction, Insurance, SeaTow service, and Cleaning fees. There are no hidden charges associated. However, please note that Sales Tax and Fuel charges are not covered. Additionally, during the Christmas and Easter weeks, a 15% surcharge will be applicable.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
In the event of cancellation prior to the commencement of the rental period, the following conditions apply:
- More than 60 days before: No charge
- Less than 60 days before: 20% (deposit)
- Less than 30 days before: 100% (total rental fee) We strive to accommodate rescheduling requests for short-notice cancellations. If rescheduling isn’t possible due to existing bookings, you will receive a voucher valid for up to 1 year, enabling you to reschedule for a later time.
HOW ARE MECHANICAL ISSUES WITH THE BOAT HANDLED?
In the unlikely scenario of a mechanical problem with your boat, we will make every effort to promptly provide a replacement boat. Should a replacement not be available, a partial refund will be issued. Rest assured that all our boats are covered under the SeaTow Membership, ensuring that the boat can be towed back to our docks if necessary.
CAN YOU BRING THE BOAT TO MY VACATION RENTAL?
Certainly, we would be delighted to transport the boat to your vacation rental. Please include the delivery request when making your reservation. Depending on the distance and location, there may be an extra charge for the delivery.
ARE ONE-DAY BOAT RENTALS AVAILABLE?
Yes, we do offer one-day boat rentals, subject to seasonal availability. Feel free to submit a request, and we will verify the dates for you.
